Biography
Jon is notorious is the college leagues for being the minciest left back in oxford. It was, therefore, of little suprise when he wimpered out of the closet earlier this term and declared his love for all things male.
He has a left foot that makes Lee Young Pyo's look as cultured as yakult. In fact, there is some debate whether he even has a left foot hidden beneath his shocking white boot, and there will be keen spotters waiting to document his first touch with said foot. Indeed, it will be interesting what will happen first: a pass with his left foot; a shot with either foot; or the magical appearance of a top lip(*). Despite all this, Jon remains a well oiled cog in the LMH defence, and when not trying audacious scoops in his own area (with the help of his sixth toe), "Claude" is a solid, dependable full back.
Jon has a long history of getting served, yet on Thurs 14th Feb, 2008, something truely marvelous happened. He sprouted a back bone. Having been served, he managed to serve straight back, and as many of you may have realised, it is now ON!
These are interesting times for the lad affectionately known as Jon "lock up your sons" Dickie.
(* As of roughly 3rd week, 2.34 OMT, all bets are off. Whilst there is still no sign of a top-lip, and the left foot remains carefully under wraps, the 8th wonder of the world has been revealed. With the ball bouncing enticingly just outside the area, up-steps Claude, and with a small glance up to the heavens to thank Jah for this moment, he unleashes a shot of such venom I can only wonder the terror felt by the keeper. Alas, another look up to heaven reveals that this shot is more likely to knock down the pearly gates than trouble the opposition's goal. We can only hope that in the twilight of his LMH career, JD can register a shot on target...what's that? Yes, I suppose pigs might fly)
